Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating two female teens, both age 14, who were reported as runaways in separate incidents in East Hawai‘i.

  • Summer Keliikoa, (Report # 23-041974), was last seen on Friday, April 29, 2023, at 1:00 a.m. on Rainbow Drive in the Ainaloa area of Pahoa, wearing a white tank-top, dark in color shorts, and brown laced slippers. Keliikoa is described as Hawaiian with a dark complexion, 4 feet 11 inches tall, 100 pounds, with brown eyes  and straight black shoulder length hair.
  • Serenity Salmo-Kaawa, (Report # 23-036620), was last seen in the 200 block of Waianuenue Avenue in Hilo on Friday, April 14, 2023, around 5:00 p.m., wearing a black tube top shirt, green camouflage pants, sneakers and a back pack. She is described as Hawaiian with a medium build, about 5 feet 2 inches tall, 135 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. 

Police ask anyone with information about Keliikoa’s or Salmo-Kaawa’s whereabouts to contact the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.
