Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 13-year-old Kayden Dereis, who was reported as a runaway.

Dereis was last seen in the Kea‘au area on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. wearing grey sweat pants and a red hoodie.

He is described as having a fair complexion with a medium build, about 5 feet tall, 150 pounds, with black hair and light brown eyes. 

Police ask anyone with information on Dereis’ whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.
