Hawai‘i Police Department announces a change in one of the upcoming Kona Coffee with a Cop sessions taking place this month.

The “Coffee with a Cop” event slated for Friday, May 21, at Kona Coffee and Tea, in the Kona Coast Shopping Center, has been rescheduled to Friday, May 28 at the same location.

This week’s Coffee with a Cop scheduled for Friday, May 14, at the Kona Mountain Coffee Co., 73-4038 Hulikoa Drive, will take place as planned. All events are from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Stop by and get to know your district and Community Police Officers over a cup of coffee; discuss topics of mutual interest and concern.

We will adhere to all social distancing guidelines maintaining the 6 feet distance and wearing of masks. We will also be restricting access should the max capacity be reached. Tables and chairs will be sanitized after each use.

This event will be subject to change with regard to COVID-19 restrictions and or additional proclamations issued by county and state government.
