5-17-22 Police Ask Public’s Assistance in Locating Missing Hilo Woman Mele Kuli

Hawai‘i Island police are requesting the public’s assistance in locating 71-year-old Mele A. Kuli of Hilo. Kuli was reportedly last seen leaving the 100 block of Kaieie Place, in the Panaewa area of Hilo on Monday, May 16, 2022, around 4:00 p.m. in a 2014 gold Toyota Highlander bearing license plate ZCN988. She was last seen wearing a gray colored blouse and blue jeans pants.

Kuli is described as Polynesian, 5 feet 10 inches tall, 235 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes. 

Police ask anyone with information on Kuli’s whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311 or contact Officer Dustin Chaves at dustin.chaves@hawaiicounty.gov.
