Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 13-year-old Arieana Balbin, who was reported as a runaway. Balbin is classified as an endangered missing child due to her age.

Balbin was last seen leaving Kea‘au Middle School in Puna on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at 2:15 p.m. wearing a gray Kea‘au middle school t-shirt, light-blue jeans, and unknown footwear. 

She is described as Asian with a medium complexion, 5 feet tall, 107 pounds, with dyed-red, shoulder-length hair and brown eyes.

Police ask anyone with information about Balbin’s whereabouts to call Officer Bryson Arquitola-Takiue at the police department’s non-emergency number (808) 935-3311.
