Hawai‘i Island police are requesting the public’s assistance in locating 16-year-old Ella Ishoda who was reported as a runaway.

Ishoda was last seen on Monday May 22, 2023, at 6:00 a.m., at her residence in the 75-5800 block of Kuakini Highway, in Kailua-Kona.

She is described as local/Polynesian with a medium dark complexion, 5 feet 4 inches tall, 180 pounds, with long, dark brown hair and brown eyes.

Police ask anyone who may have information about Ishoda’s whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311 or Kona Patrol Officer Makena Nahooikaika at makena.nahooikaika@hawaiicounty.gov.
