Hawai‘i Island police are requesting the public’s assistance in locating 50-year-old Timothy Nelson who is reported missing. He was last seen leaving his residence in Hilo on Saturday, May 28, 2022, at 12 p.m., and was headed to Kalapana on his motorcycle. He was last seen wearing a gray shirt, blue denim jeans, and black boots.

He is described as Caucasian with a fair complexion, 5 feet 9 inches tall, 180 pounds, with grey hair and hazel eyes.

Police ask anyone with information on Nelson’s whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311 or contact Officer Lam Doan at lam.doan@hawaiicounty.gov.
