Hawaiʻi Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 18-year-old Makahiki Moala who was reported missing. He was last seen on April 28, 2022 at 5:55 p.m. in the 70 block of Aupuni Street in Hilo and is known to frequent the Hilo and Puna districts.

Moala is described as Hawaiian with a slender build, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, 130 pounds, with short brown hair and brown eyes.

Police ask anyone who may have information on Moala’s whereabouts to contact the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311 or Officer Daniel Mahi-Murray at daniel.murray@hawaiicounty.gov.
