Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating an elderly Pahoa man who was reported missing.

James Devore, age 79, was last seen on Pahoa Village Road in Pahoa on Thursday, May 26, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. He may be operating a 2018 blue Chevrolet Spark, Hawai‘i license plate #ZHB243. 

No photograph is available of Devore, however, he is described as having a fair complexion, 5 feet 10 inches tall, 170 pounds, with white hair and blue eyes.

Devore has several medical conditions that require daily medication.

Police ask anyone who may have any information on Devore’s whereabouts to contact the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.
