Hawai’i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 80-year-old Dorothy Tait of the Hawaiian Paradise Park subdivision in Kea’au, who was reported missing. 
 
Tait is described as 5 feet, 4 inches tall, 160 pounds, with gray hair and green eyes.
 
She was last seen on Saturday, June 8, 2024, around 5:20 p.m., walking on Maku’u Drive near 31st Avenue in Kea’au wearing a floral shirt and gray pants.
 
If you have information that can assist in helping safely locate Dorothy Tait, please call 911 or contact the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.
