Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 13-year-old Kailea Kekipi, who was reported as a runaway. However, due to her age Kekipi is classified as an endangered missing child.
Kekipi was last seen on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at 10:30 a.m., walking on Aupuni Street towards Wailoa State Park in Hilo, wearing a green hoodie jacket with a tank top/shorts combination body suit, black sneakers, and a small black backpack.
She is described as Hawaiian with a medium complexion, 5 feet tall, 100 pounds, with black medium-length hair and brown eyes.
Police ask anyone with information about Kekipi’s whereabouts to call Officer Roger Carvalho at the police department’s non-emergency number (808) 935-3311.
