6-14-22 Police Seeking Two East Hawai‘i Female Runaways

Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating two female runaways, Uilani Ahuna (Report #22-050657) and Cherish Ahulau-Kaleo (Report #22-050659). Both teens are 15 years old.

Ahuna, had previously been reported as a runaway (Report #22-043114) in May and was found in South Kohala in good health on Friday, June 10, 2022.

Both Ahuna and Ahulau-Kaleo were last seen on the 1700 block of Kino‘ole Street in Hilo on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at 12:30 a.m.

Ahulau-Kaleo is described as Hawaiian with a tan complexion and thin build, about 5 feet 1 inch to 5 feet 9 inches tall, 105 to 120 pounds, with long brown hair with red streaks and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black top and jeans.

Ahuna is described as Hawaiian with a fair complexion and thin build, about 5 feet tall, 100 pounds, with long brown hair and brown eyes. Ahuna also has a burn scar on the inside of the lower portion of her right leg. She was last seen wearing a white hooded sweatshirt and denim shorts.

Police ask anyone with information on either teen’s whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.
