Hawai‘i Island police are searching for 46-year-old Brian Maccaferri of Kea‘au, who family members say they have not heard from since late May 2021. Maccaferri is known to frequent the Kea‘au and Pahoa areas.

He is described as Caucasian with a tan complexion, 5 feet 10 inches, weighing 150 to 160 pounds, with long black and brown hair.

Police ask anyone with information on his whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311, and ask for Officer Scott Hammons.
