7-11-22 Police Seeking Two Female Runaways: Uilani Ahuna and Kelis Garmon-Mercado

Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating two female runaways, 15-year-old Uilani Ahuna (Report #22-056465) and 17-year-old Kelis Garmon-Mercado (Report #22-056852).

Ahuna was last seen on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at 4:10 p.m. in the 1100 block of Waianuenue Avenue in Hilo wearing a black “NB” jacket, blue shorts, and slippers.

She is described as Hawaiian with a slim build, about 5 feet 1 inch tall, 100 pounds, with long brown hair and brown eyes.

Garmon-Mercado was last seen in the 1700 block of Kinoole Street in Hilo on Thursday, June 30, 2022, at 7:33 p.m. wearing a pink hoodie, a black tutu, and blue slippers.

She is described as Caucasian with a large build, about 5 feet 5 inches tall, 290 pounds, with black curly hair and brown eyes.
