Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 16-year-old Adelyne Cowdery-Demetrion who was reported as a runaway.

Cowdery-Demetrion left her residence on Mohouli Street in Hilo sometime between midnight and 10 a.m. on Monday, July 31, 2023. She is described as Caucasian with a light complexion, about 5 feet 8 inches tall, 145 pounds, with strawberry blond hair and blue eyes. She also has an arm band tattoo on her right bicep. 

Police ask anyone with information on Cowdery-Demetrion’s whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311 or Acting Detective Corey Kaneko at (808) 961-8843.
