Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the community’s assistance in locating 42-year-old Landon Fairbanks who has been reported missing.

He was last seen on Wednesday August 3, 2022, around 12:00 p.m. in the area of Two-Step beach in Hōnaunau wearing a blue shirt, dark shorts, shoes, and a hat.

Fairbanks is described as Caucasian, 6 feet tall, 220 pounds, with a mustache and goatee. He also has a sleeve tattoo on his lower left leg. Fairbanks may be in need of medications and is known to frequent the Captain Cook and Kailua-Kona areas.

Police ask anyone with information on Fairbanks’ whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311, attention Officer Derek Okabayashi.
