Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a male suspect wanted for questioning in connection with a terroristic threatening investigation. The investigation stems from an incident that occurred in the Eden Roc subdivision in Mountain View on Saturday, August 6, 2022, around 12:45 p.m.

The male suspect is described as having a thin build with a dark complexion, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, 150 to 160 pounds, with short dark hair.

He was last seen wearing a brown camouflage face mask and a dark colored hat.

Police ask anyone with information regarding this person to call the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311 or contact Officer Jason Miyashiro at  jason.miyashiro@hawaiicounty.gov.​ Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at (808) 961-8300 and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
