Hawai‘i Island police are renewing their request for information regarding 73-year-old Glynda Evangelista  of Hilo, who has not been seen or heard from by her family since April 2017.

Evangelista was last seen on Monday, April 24, 2017, on Kilauea Avenue in Hilo wearing a dark jacket and orange and yellow floral dress, carrying a blue backpack. She is considered endangered due to a medical condition that requires medication.

Evangelista is described as having a fair complexion and a medium build, 5 feet 4 inches tall, 200 pounds, with short salt-and-pepper hair, hazel eyes, and wears prescription glasses.

Police ask anyone with information about Evangelista’s disappearance and/or her whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311 or Lieutenant Rio Amon-Wilkins or the Area I Criminal Investigation Section at (808) 961-2252 or via email at Rio.Amon-Wilkins@hawaiicounty.gov.
