Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 13-year-old Kailea Kekipi, who was reported as a runaway. However, due to her age Kekipi is classified as an endangered missing child.

Kekipi was last seen on Friday, August 11, 2023, at 10:30 p.m. on Awela St. in Hilo wearing a black dress and beige shoes.  

She is described as Hawaiian with a medium complexion, 5 feet tall, 100 pounds, with black medium-length hair and brown eyes.

Police ask anyone with information about Kekipi’s whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency number (808) 935-3311.
