Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 17-year-old Nanea Palumbo, who was reported as a runaway.

Palumbo was last seen on Friday, August 25, 2023, at approximately 11:45 a.m. in Honoka’a wearing a brown tank top, black shorts, and with a black and white checkered backpack. 

She is described as local with a medium complexion, 5-feet-5 inches tall, 160 pounds, with dark medium-length hair and hazel eyes.

Police ask anyone with information about Palumbo’s whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency number (808) 935-3311.
