Hawai‘i Island police are renewing their request for the community’s assistance in locating 42-year-old Landon Fairbanks who has been reporting missing. Fairbanks was last seen on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. in the area of “Two-Step” beach in Hōnaunau.

Fairbanks is described as Caucasian, 6 feet tall, 220 pounds, with a mustache and goatee and brown eyes. Fairbanks also has tattoos on his right arm and a half-sleeved, Asian-inspired black tattoo with red flowers on his lower left leg. He is known to frequent the Captain Cook and Kailua-Kona areas.

Police ask anyone with information on Fairbanks’ location to call the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call the island wide Crime Stoppers number at (808) 961-8300. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
