Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 17-year-old Keolamauloa Heanu of Hilo, who was reported as a runaway.

Heanu was last seen in the area of the 1700 block of Kino‘ole Street, on Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at 6:25 p.m. wearing a black shirt, black jacket, jeans, and a camouflage-colored fanny pack, riding a skateboard.

He is described as having fair skin, being 5 feet 4 inches tall, 120 pounds, with short dirty blonde hair and hazel eyes.

Police ask anyone with information on Heanu’s whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.
