Hawai‘i Island Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 15-year-old Cara Miguel who was reported as a runaway.

Miguel was last seen on Saturday, August 19, 2023, around 6:30 p.m. in the 25-0000 block of Malumalu Street in Hilo wearing a red shirt, blue jeans, and a black backpack. 

She is described as Caucasian with a light complexion, 5 feet 1 inch tall, 120 pounds, with dark hair and brown eyes.

Police ask anyone with information about Miguel’s whereabouts to contact the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.
