Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 14-year-old John Histo III of Mountain View, who was reported as a runaway.

Histo was last seen on Monday, September 6, 2021, at 4:00 p.m. in the Mountain View area. He is described as having a thin build, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 125 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Histo was last seen wearing a black and gray t-shirt, black and yellow shorts, and carrying a camouflage duffle bag.

Police ask anyone with information on Histo’s whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.
