Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 16-year-old Lilinoe Ferreira of Pahoa who was reported as a runaway.

Ferreira was last seen in the vicinity of the Black Sands Subdivision on Friday, September 9, 2022, at 6:30 a.m. wearing a green Pahoa High School t-shirt and jeans pants.   

She is described as having a tan complexion, being 5 feet 5 inches tall, 135 pounds, medium build with long brown hair, hazel eyes and having a tribal tattoo of a hibiscus flower and turtle on her lower left leg. 

Police ask anyone with information on the whereabouts of Ferreira to call the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.
