Hawai’i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 31-year-old Gary Silva-Evangelista of Pahoa, who has been reported missing. Family members say they have not heard from him since 2019. He is known to frequent the Hilo and Puna areas.

Silva-Evangelista is described as being a male, 5-feet 9-inches tall, weighing approximately 150 pounds and having black hair and brown eyes.

Police ask anyone with information on his whereabouts to call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.
