Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating two east Hawai‘i runaways.

Both were last seen in the area of the 1700 block of Kinoole Street in Hilo on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at 7:55 p.m.

Seventeen-year-old Keolamauloa Heanu of Hilo is described as being Caucasian-Hawaiian with a fair complexion, 5 feet 9 inches, 126 pounds, with short blond hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a grey sweatshirt and jeans.

Fourteen-year-old John Histo III of Mountain View is described as Hawaiian with a thin build, 5 feet 6 inches, 120 pounds, with short black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a grey sweatshirt, black basketball shorts, and carrying a black backpack.

Police ask that anyone with information on either teen’s whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.
