9-17-21 Police Seek Public’s Assistance in Locating Missing Teen Hunter Leu

Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 17-year-old Hunter Leu, who was reported missing.

Leu was last seen on Friday, September 17, 2021, around 2:30 p.m., in the area of Hilo Medical Center wearing a paper HMC gown.

He is described as having a slim build, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 185 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Police ask that anyone with any information on Leu’s whereabouts to please contact the police department’s non-emergency number at (808) 935-3311 or dial 911. They can also contact Lieutenant Robert Pauole of the Area I Juvenile Aid Section at (808) 961-2254 or via email at Robert.Pauole@hawaiicounty.gov.
