Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 51-year-old Melinda Polet of Mountain View.

Polet was last heard from on Wednesday, September 15, 2021. She is described as having a medium build, 5 feet 4 inches tall, 140 pounds, with light brown hair and brown eyes. Polet is known to wear a whale tail pendant and has a tattoo of a goat on her upper arm.

Police ask anyone with information on Polet’s whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.
