Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 16-year-old Koali‘i Kuhia, who was reported as a runaway.

Kuhia was last seen in the Kurtistown area on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, between 1:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. and may have a black backpack. He is described as having a tan complexion, 5 feet 10 inches, 130-145 pounds, with short black hair and brown eyes.

Police ask anyone who may have information on Kuhia’s whereabouts to contact the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.
