Hawaiʻi Island police are searching for a 23-year old Waimea man who is a missing person in need of medication.

Moroni “Mo” Freitas is described as being 5’10” tall and weighing 210 pounds. Freitas currently has brown curly hair and a brown beard. Freitas left the Hawaiian Homes area in Waimea on June 20, 2021 at around 4:00 a.m. Freitas was last known to be driving a White 2010 Subaru Outback with damage to the front right bumper. This vehicle has a State of Hawaii License plate number of HLS307.

Hawai’i Island Police ask for anyone with information on Moroni “Mo” Freitas’ whereabouts to call the Police Departments non-emergency line at 808-935-3311.
