Police called off a search for a catamaran originally believed stolen from its anchor at Reed’s Bay behind the Bay Clinic.

The Hobie catamaran, reported stolen sometime between October 5, 2002, and October 8, apparently had slipped from its moorings and was adrift.

The boat was located Thursday (October 31, 2002) after it was pulled ashore at a residence at Ocean View Drive.
