MEDIA RELEASE UPDATE

Big Island police have located a 34-year-old Puna man and his 3-year-old son who were reported missing by a family member.

Police said Jonathan Masutani and his son, Akeno, were located in good health Wednesday after (July 2y, 2000) in Waimea, South Kohala, after being reported missing by a family member.

South Kohala Patrol Officer Marvin Troutman thanked the public for calling the police to report on the Masutanis’ whereabouts. Troutman said police received numerous phone calls from residents responding to the department’s request for help in locating the father and son.
