Media Release

The Hawaii Isle Police Activities League program (HI-PAL) will hold its first round of Boys and Girls Intermediate School Basketball League beginning October 21 and running through December 9.

This league is for students in grades 6, 7 and 8 only. All participants must represent an intermediate or middle school. Teams should be formed from within the interested students’ schools and will compete against other participating schools. Teams from outside organizations are not to participate. Home school students and students from schools unable to form a full team may be combined into a team.

A schedule of games, times and gym facilities will be provided prior to the first games.

The HI-Pal program would like to encourage interested responsible adults to get involved and coach a team in this league. Interested coaches and anyone with questions abut the league are asked to call Officer Joseph Botelho Jr. at 961-2220 (office) or 896-9710 (cell). The HI-PAL fax number is 961-2209.
