MEDIA RELEASE

The Hawaii Isle Police Activities League will be sponsoring two basketball officiating clinics for anyone interested in becoming a HI-PAL basketball official.

One clinic each will be held in East and West Hawaii.

Through videos and lectures, the clinics will cover basketball rules and officiating mechanics. On successfully completing the classes, participants will have an opportunity to work in HI-PAL Summer Age-Group Basketball League games.

Individuals interested in registering should call the HI-PAL office in East Hawaii at 961-2219 or in West Hawaii at 326-4276.
