The Hawaiʻi Police Department’s Hawaiʻi Isle Police Activities League (HI-PAL) will host the Halloween Havoc  3-on-3 Basketball Tournament in Keaukaha from October 26-28 at the Kawananakoa gym.

Team entries are being accepted in the following age group divisions: 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, high school boys, girls 10 and under, girls 12 and under, girls 14 and under and high school girls. The age cutoff date is December 31, 2012.

HI-PAL plans to have the teams with players aged 13 and older play their games on Friday night, October 26. The teams with players aged 5-12 will play on Saturday, October 27, and Sunday, October 28.

The deadline to enter is October 19. Each team will be required to complete a registration packet, which must be submitted by that deadline.

In addition to the tournament, police will provide information on how to make Halloween activities safer as well as a child seat safety checkpoint on Saturday, October 27.
