The Hawaii Isle Police Activities League is sponsoring its Annual HI-PAL Intermediate Basketball League.

HI-PAL is accepting volunteers who are responsible adults interested in coaching an intermediate team. Coaches will be responsible for a team representing a school of their choice. They will be registered under the HI-PAL program and must follow all HI-PAL guidelines. The HI-PAL program reserves the right to accept coaches.

A mandatory coaches meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, September 4, 2002, in the Hilo police station downstairs training room.

The league will play September 17-November 16, 2002.
