MEDIA RELEASE

The Hawaii Isle Police Activities League (HI-PAL) will be sponsoring the 22nd Annual Winter Basketball Classic on December 26-29, 2002 in Hilo. Team registration is open to the following divisions, 9-10 Division, 11-12 Division, 13-14 Division, Girls 12 and under Division, Girls 14 and under Division. Deadline to register a team will be December 1, 2002.

Teams that receive their packets must send their Team Eligibility Affidavit form (team roster) to the HI-PAL office as soon as possible. Deadline is December 10, 2002. Teams that fail to turn in their forms will not be placed on the tournament schedule.

Teams interested in entering or anyone having questions about this classic is encouraged to contact the HI-PAL office at 961-2219 or 326-4276 as soon as possible.
