The Hawai’i Police Department is warning the public about a rash of burglaries on Wailuku Drive in Hilo.

Last month police responded to several reports of burglaries and suspicious individuals in that area.

Police ask anyone with information about burglaries in that area to call Officer Donovan Kohara at 935-2213 or the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 961-8300. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
