Media Release

The Hawai’i Police Department is reminding the public that some areas along Kalaniana’ole Avenue in Keaukaha are designated “No Parking” zones. Those areas are designed to allow emergency vehicles access to assist the public.

With the summer season and sunny weather, the number of beach goers is expected to increase, leading to a potential parking shortage. Police ask the public to exercise caution and not park on the roadways or where posted signs prohibit it. Officers will continue to issue citations to ensure the safety of our community.

The public may direct inquiries to the Community Policing office at 961-8120.
