Media Release

Big Island Police have arrested and charged a Ka’u man in connection with a burglary in Hawaiian Oceanview Estates in Ka’u on Monday (September 24).

Stephen Graham, 18, of Hawaiian Oceanview Estates, was arrested Tuesday afternoon (September 25) and charged Wednesday (September 26) with first-degree burglary, two counts of second-degree theft and drug charges.

The burglary and theft charges stem from a break-in at a home from which video games and a laptop computer were taken. The drug charges stem from cocaine and glass smoking pipes Graham allegedly had in his possession.

Graham’s bail was set at $25,000. He is being held at the Kona Police Cellblock pending a court hearing.
