Big Island police have charged a Kona man arrested Tuesday (November 16) in connection with a double stabbing in Kailua-Kona.

At 6:10 p.m. Thursday (November 18), detectives from the Area II Criminal Investigations section charged 62-year-old Gene Craig Wells of Kailua-Kona with second-degee murder and second-degree assault. His bail was set at $260,000.
