MEDIA RELEASE UPDATE

Thanks to tips from the public, police have located 32-year-old Ashley K. Maiava, who was wanted for questioning in a theft investigation.

Police asked the public for help locating the Puna man Thursday (May 18, 2006).

According to Detective Greg Esteban of the Criminal Investigations Section, police received numerous calls and located Maiava Saturday.

Esteban said police are grateful for the public’s assistance.
