MEDIA RELEASE UPDATE

A female passenger reported missing aboard the ship Norwegian Wind was located Monday (December 9, 2002) in good health.

Police said the woman, identified as Danie N. Haili, 40, of Kahuku, Oahu, was located about 8:30 a.m. on Apapane Street in Hilo’s Keaukaha area.

Haili was reported missing Saturday when she could not be found after the ship had debarked at 6 p.m. She had been last seen near the ship at 4:30 p.m. when it was docked at the Hilo Pier.

There was no information on the reason the woman failed to board the ship before it left the port.
