Media Release

The Hawaii Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating a 58-year-old man reported missing. Tucker Burling was last seen in 2000 in the Waipio Valley area and walking along the Queen Kaahumanu Highway in South Kohala.

He is described as Caucasian, 6-foot-3, about 160 pounds with gray hair and blue eyes. He is also known as "Kin," "Jungle Man" and "Coconut Man."

Police ask anyone with information about his whereabouts to call Officer Lance Ambrose at 887-3080 or the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311. Callers who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona.
