Big Island Police are searching for a 38-year old Hilo man reported as missing.

Tomas Calapit of Hilo was last seen on Sunday as he walked away from his residence. 

He is described as Filipino, 5-foot-7, 115 pounds with a slim build, medium length black hair and brown eyes. 

Police ask that anyone with information of his whereabouts call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
