Big Island police are renewing their request for the public’s help in locating a 42-year-old Hilo man who was reported missing on November 22, 2007.

Willie Dennis Eriksson of a Kaiwiki Road address is described as Caucasian, 5-foot-9, 165 pounds with blue eyes, short gray or partially gray hair and a goatee.

He is known to frequent the downtown Hilo area and to travel between Hilo and Kona.

Eriksson was last seen during the evening hours of November 7, 2007, at a general store in the Mountain View area of the Puna District.

Police have not ruled out foul play in his disappearance.

Police ask anyone with information on his whereabouts to call Detective Robert Hatton or the Police Department’s non-emergency number at 935-3311. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
