Big Island police are searching for a 20-year-old Kona man who was reported missing on Monday (July 5).

Mychal Ing of Kailua-Kona was last seen on Saturday (July 3), at OTEC Beach Park around 3:30 p.m.

Ing is described as approximately 5-foot-6, 115 pounds with a fair complexion, short brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a dark gray shirt, brown surf shorts and slippers.

Police ask that anyone with information on his whereabouts call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311 or Officer Eric Reyes at 326-4646, ext. 253.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-1818 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
