Media Release

Big Island police are searching for a 38-year old Puna Hilo man reported as missing.

John Kessock of Mountain View was last seen on May 18. He flew to Honolulu on that date and may plan to fly to the mainland.

He is described as Caucasian, 6-feet tall, 190 pounds with short brown hair and blue eyes. He has what is described as a “twisted thumb.” He also has a medical condition that requires medication.

Police ask that anyone with information on his whereabouts call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
