Big Island police are searching for a 62-year-old Pahala man reported as missing.

Ernest C. Oleyte was last heard from on Monday (December 20). He has a medical condition that requires medication.

He is described as 5-foot-6, 160 pounds with gray shoulder-length hair and a receding hairline. He was last seen in Pahala wearing blue jeans and a green sweatshirt. He rides a 2008 red Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

Police ask that anyone with information on his whereabouts call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.
